Tourism is set to be a focus of the first North Yorkshire Business Week this June. The week, which runs from 16 to 20 June celebrates the county’s diverse and innovative businesses with a week filled with opportunities for businesses to share best practice and learn vital skills for business growth.

The week, which is being delivered by the Business North Yorkshire team, part of North Yorkshire Council, will feature a varied programme of in-person and online events, kicking off with a special launch event on Monday 16 June at Harrogate Convention Centre.

The Visit North Yorkshire team will be joining activity throughout the week including hosting two unmissable workshops focused on developing and selling experiential tourist experiences. The workshops, led by Chris Brant, Experiential Tourism Advisor at Unmissable England and Head of Tourism, Tony Watson, will introduce businesses to the growing market of experiential tourism, covering how to design, develop, and distribute compelling bookable experiences. Aimed at Tourism businesses, local producers, accommodation providers, and experience creators looking to develop and sell unique visitor experiences, attendees will gain insight into the latest trends, best practices, and key distribution strategies to maximise bookings and revenue.
