Attracting inbound visitors to North Yorkshire
Visit North Yorkshire lead the county’s inbound travel efforts to make the county attractive to travel trade buyers and bring more visitors here as part of their visit to the United Kingdom.
How can Visit North Yorkshire help?
Visit North Yorkshire connects your business to the intermediary companies in the travel trade who book, organise and sell travel packages to the UK.
We have identified key international markets to which we promote North Yorkshire based on the Strengths identified in the Destination Management Plan. We do this through press and PR visits, and attending travel show events.
Marketing and promotion to international audiences can be costly, so we work with VisitBritain as part of the York and North Yorkshire LVEP to put North Yorkshire on the international map.
To do this effectively, we need to know which businesses in North Yorkshire that are ready to accept international visitors from the travel trade, and what they can offer.
We can then promote you at trade shows, include you in familiarisation visits, itineraries, and include you in international press visits. This will then turn into more international visitors for you and your business.
