Visit North Yorkshire have joined forces with the York and North Yorkshire Growth Hub and City of York Council to support hospitality businesses from across the area to benefit from fully funded Food Hygiene and Safety Level 2 training and certification courses.
This opportunity aims to support local hospitality businesses by enhancing food safety knowledge and ensuring high industry standards, without any cost to participants. Whether you’re an established venue or just starting out, this training can help boost staff skills and build customer confidence.
High Speed Training’s Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering course is an industry-leading course, designed to equip businesses with the knowledge and skills needed to operate safe and hygienic food premises. The course covers legal responsibilities, minimising food safety hazards, best practice for temperature control, food storage and preparation, the importance of personal hygiene and effective cleaning practices.
Eligible Tourism and Hospitality businesses in York and North Yorkshire can apply for training for two members of staff, who will receive a certificate upon completion of the online training.
